ABOUT THE GAME

Explore the Kyprei-41 galaxy as a lonely TAXINAUT carrying fares across alien worlds. Descent onto planets and fly over alien cities and landscapes. Land at bars, diners, garages and many other common and exotic locations. Interact with the locals to ask for directions or learn about the many esoteric and often clandestine aspects of the Kyprei-41 galaxy.

• RPG and space taxi sim / life sim in one: Lead the life of a working-class astronaut, pilot a spaceship and transport passengers across an open-world galaxy.

• Fly both on planets and in space. Seamlessly ascent from a planet into space then fly or warp to another planet and descent to it: no loading screens, no "teleporting".

• Over 100,000 star-systems with planets and stations to explore.

• A grimy sci-fi / fantasy setting: think Taxi Driver in space.

• An optional 30+ hours main story-line and 4 secondary story-lines.

• Modify your clone with gongs (an RPG-like skill system).

• Unlock equipment and other items for purchase at your home and modify your ship to receive free items every time you sleep.

• Various foods, drink & drugs with various effects (e.g. skill-buffs).

• Weapons and other items to deal with hostile ships, individuals and creatures.

• Completely controllable with just the mouse (one hand free to hold a drink, no keyboard needed) or use a controller with the specially made focus-system.

• Relaxing real-time with pause like controls: Mouse-click pauses the game to give you time to think: pick a weapon, pick a target, click again to resume and watch what happens.

• 13 unique music tracks

• An optional tutorial integrated into the game, a manual and over 20 short and to the point videos to help explain things as they come up.

• Everything fully handmade over nearly 10 years by a solo dev: no engine and no AI.

• Highly moddable if you know or are willing to learn Java.
