2015 Game of the Year for a reason
The Witcher 3 is by far the best in the series and really pulls everything from the first two games...
The Witcher 3 is by far the best in the series and really pulls everything from the first two games together. If you had played the previous two make sure you still have your save files! You can import them and get a few extra quests throughout the story that will change the ending(being vague to avoid spoilers). It also happens to be visually the best game out at the moment and with mod support you can make it even better or different to your own preference. The replay-ability is extremely high as with multiple endings and each ending having multiple sub endings(influenced by certain missions) it can really change everything. For such a low price it's well worth it and being the 2015 Game of the Year should tell you even at full price it's well worth the money.

Glorious single player RPG!
I moved on swiftly from The Witcher 2 to this one ( after doing a few endings on the second one)...
I moved on swiftly from The Witcher 2 to this one ( after doing a few endings on the second one) and its just awesome. The combat was slightly different and I remember reading at the time that a controller was best for this - cannot fathom. Keyboard and mouse all the way.
Story is awesome, always wondering if making decision X will affect something down the line. Great characters and graphics ( the odd horse glitch aside ). I feel very much apart of the story and being able to pick up my old Geralt from the second game really helped. Can't begin to explain how good this game is, pick it up and try for yourself.
I should say that I picked up The Witcher 2, died during the tutorial and put it to bed for a long time. Came back to it a year or so later, sucked it up and got one with it. Very very rewarding.
Now I can easily play this game on hard and it is just challenging enough.
Not to mention that from launch there were 12 free pieces of DLC released for free and some were major additions ( like new game+ )! What cool folk!
